Principal's Message
Welcome to St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School The school where we endeavour to authentically live out our school motto, “Praestantia Scholastica, Praestantia Athletica, Praestantia Religiosa” (simply put-Excellence in Academics, Athletics and Religion). The motto is most appropriate since our school community works diligently at achieving excellence both inside and outside of the classroom.
St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School enjoys a rich tradition dating back to 1972, and is a shining example of what a quality, Catholic education truly is — rooted in Gospel teachings, excellence based, diverse, inclusive, and loving. We are glad that you have chosen to join our faith-based community.
My primary goal as principal of the school is to maintain and enhance St. Thomas More’s well-earned reputation. Therefore, I encourage students to embrace, enthusiastically, all that our Catholic school community has to offer them.
In order to fulfil our mandate, we work with all stakeholders. This group includes students, staff, parish, parents and the greater community. We encourage all to work with staff as they provide pathways for students to work towards realizing their God given talents. I pray, that despite the many challenges before us, this 'school year' will be a year of excellence and opportunity for our school community.
