St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School students will be participating in the Catholic Safe Schools Climate Survey (Tell them from Me) in the coming weeks.
We plan to begin completing this survey with students who are learning face-to-face, and in person, March 1st and March 2nd. Students in all face-to-face classes from grades 9-12 will be asked to complete this survey.
The Ministry of Education requires each school district to conduct this survey to collect information concerning students’ feelings of safety and security at school.
The information collected and completion of the survey is anonymous and completely confidential.
The collection of this information is important to help inform the administration and staff within the school and the HWCDSB about steps we can take to continually improve the safety and well-being of our students while they are attending St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School.
Parental consent is required for any student whose parents wish that they do not participate in this survey. You can also find information about the survey below. If you do not wish for your child to participate in this survey, please complete the opt-out form found on the school website. Please have your child drop this off at attendance to Mr. Marrazzo or email this opt-out form to him directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
no later than Wednesday, February 24th, 2021. If we don't receive an opt-out form, we will assume that you consent to your child participating in this survey.
